Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search box is sent to the outside provider that supplies the results. Alliance Residents Directory does not retain a separate copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains the information included in that message and is used to respond.
Automatically Collected Data
Routine hosting logs can include an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We review this data in aggregate for service maintenance and readership patterns. Cookies or comparable tools may also support basic analytics or advertising measurement where used.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to operate and improve the service, diagnose technical issues, and measure overall traffic. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Services
Links can lead to county and state portals, library collections, archives, and outside search services. Each destination applies its own privacy practices to information submitted there. Sponsored search results are likewise supplied by another company.
Information Shared With Others
Hosting and support providers process the routine logs needed to run the service. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic data described above. Information is disclosed when required by valid legal process and otherwise only as described here.
Safeguards
The service uses an encrypted connection, and routine logs are retained only for the needs described above. No visitor account, password, or profile is created by Alliance Residents Directory.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect a minor's personal information. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted information, and we will remove it.
Your Information Choices
Visitors may ask about information this service keeps and may request correction or deletion where applicable. Ohio research did not identify a comprehensive consumer-privacy deletion statute for this context. R.C. 1347.15 instead governs confidentiality safeguards for personal information held by state agencies. Because this service keeps little, a request normally means reviewing the contact mailbox and available server logs, then removing responsive material. Use the Contact page. Ohio Public Records Act material held by a state, county, or city custodian is outside this service's control and must be addressed to that custodian.
Policy Revisions
Updates will appear here. Continuing to use the service after an update means the revised policy applies.
